Accounts Payable Manager – Charlotte, NC

CCG has an Accounts Payable Manager position available in its Charlotte, NC office. This position has visibility and interaction with senior management and offers career advancement.


This role is critical to the daily operations and corporate funding of a rapidly growing commercial finance company. The person filling this position will work as part of the Treasury team to manage the daily AP processing, cash management and AP-related projects in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

  • Manage all processes relating to Accounts Payable
  • Oversee a Treasury Analyst, who is the primary AP processor
  • Manage continuous AP system and process improvement projects
  • Posting and coding of payables and expense reports for multiple lines of business as needed
  • Process ACH, wire and check disbursements
  • Verification of banking details and entry and of wire and ACH transactions
  • Preparation, analysis and reporting of daily and monthly activity reports
  • Ad-hoc reporting and project management

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar areas of study
  • 1-2 years’ experience using Great Plains
  • Attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills
  • Strong analytical abilities with solid Microsoft Excel skills. Experience working with, Word & Outlook.
  • Experience with vendor onboarding and deploying new systems
  • Experience with Vendor W9 processing
  • The ability to take ownership of projects and manage multiple simultaneous priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
